Collection: Cafe Racers

Cafe racers evoke images of style, speed and freedom. Born out of 1950s England, cafe racers were built for the sole purpose of racing from cafe to cafe - thus the name. Motorcycles like the Triumph Bonneville and Royal Enfield quickly became the bikes of choice for cafe racer riders due to their unique combination of speed, performance and affordability. Design-wise cafe racers are stripped-down and customized with a single seat/rider design, lowered handle bars and often an aerodynamic fairing or upper body cover to cut through the wind. Traditionally decked out in chrome and painted with bold hues of black, yellow, and red, cafe racers tended to be light-weight and low-slung. Throw on one of our cafe racer tees and feel the need for speed.
