A cafe racer is easy to identify: its timeless styling with sport low handlebars, characterful front fairings, large capacity fuel tanks, individual seats and set-back footrests to adapt the rider's position and make it as aerodynamic as possible. Hold on tight and enjoy the most aerodynamic motorcycle you could experience from the 70’S.

For those looking for the adrenaline rush of speed and an unparalleled riding experience. The motorcycles with a sporty look have a performance finish that allows you to get the most out of each ride or race, the feelings it conjures are never mistaken and are kept in a special place for café racers.

The term cafe racer alludes to the style of punk and rock music culture that took place in the city of London in the 50'S: at a time when lots of punk and rock and roll, motorcycles and racing were the life of the rebellious, non-conformed rockers who race from one café to the next;  at that time, young revolutionaries, known as rockers, customized their bikes in such a way that speed and agility were paramount.

This was one of the aspects that most distinguished these young people, converting the performance and handling of their motorcycles, getting rid of everything that was not necessary. That's how their bikes were: fast, noisy and lightweight. As the generation of the 60’S teenage triumph racers made this UK motorcycle their bike of choice due to its uncompromising and thrilling combination of traffic light race-winning performance and style in the streets of London. Racers from the other side of the pond, took their Triumphs to race on the salt flats as American rockers instilled the rebellious attitude with their love of Triumph as well.

Introducing for sale, is this custom TR6R Triumph Tiger from 1972, complete with a remodel into the café racer that we all know and love from the nostalgic rebellious past.  The 650CC, oil-in-frame, 4 speed transmission are the few remaining items from the stock bike. Everything else is custom and room for your creativity to make it yours.

It comes with a clean title. It sports the larger tanks for racing and held down by a leather strap. The tank feeds a racing single carburetor, from Mikuni, known to fuel some of the fastest bikes on the track; the ignition has been recently replaced, fitting in the side position of the bike, just past the motorcycles custom seat. True to the designs of the past, access to underneath the seat is accessed by unsnapping the seat cover. The engine is a 650CC tiger, original engine and is in great condition. The new shocks from Hagon deliver the stability needed for high speeds. This 1972 machine has the DNA of a racer with some new upgrades including Hagon suspension/ shocks, new tires, battery, sparkplugs and a recent tune-up keeping with the known performance of Triumph and the individuality of a punk rocker, this is a true motorcyclist purist dream come true.
