This fully reimagined 1979 BMW R65 by Henne Company blends vintage character with modern performance and style. Powered by a rebuilt 649cc opposed-twin engine paired with a five-speed transmission, this classic features an Elektronik Sachse digital ignition system, dual Bing carbs, an EnDuraLast 450-watt charging system, and a custom stainless-steel two-into-one exhaust. The bike sports a gray R100-style aluminum fuel tank, black powder-coated frame and fork tubes, and alloy 18" snowflake wheels with Shinko E-270 tires. Braking is enhanced with dual 320mm front rotors and Brembo four-piston calipers. Premium upgrades include a Motogadget mo.Unit Blue, clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, LED lighting, rear-set foot controls, and a leather and Alcantara-trimmed solo seat. Suspension is handled by adjustable YSS shocks and a lowered telescopic fork with Progressive springs. Finished with WalzWerk details and high-end electronics, this one-of-a-kind R65 café racer delivers style, performance, and timeless craftsmanship.
