The Spare Parts project was born out a desire to clean out the Workshop at Deus Emporium of Post Modern Activities in Venice, CA. Deus ambassadors and resident builders Forrest Minchinton and Ciaran Naran have the spent the better parts of their lives racing dirt bikes and most recently contesting the SCORE World Desert Championship full time as the Deus racing team in the Pro Motorcycle Unlimited class. All that racing leaves lots of spare parts, motorcycles, and the experience to build a winning machine. With the help of some of their brand partners, sponsors, a few boxes of spares, and a 2006 Honda CRF450x they set out to build a race machine for the 2024 Golden State 250 by Best in the Desert. When the dust settled the duo took the spare parts bike to a 3rd place podium performance in the pro motorcycle class. Not bad for a motorcycle built only 2 weeks before the race.
